A more detailed analysis has shed light on 'XML download' in BD.
1. NWA > log and trace > 'SAP log' showed;
"There is a problem when creating a ZIP archive for the bill details.
In the back-end system error "Item 000010 (SMP is not assigned to an ISO unit of measure key)" has occurred (error code: "VG" "910"). See also SAP Note 787373."
-> I needed one more spro configuration for generating 'IDOC based XML' in Biller Direct.
2. SPRO configuration
Go to CUNI transaction
(SPRO-> SAP Net Weaver-> General Settings ->Check units of measurement)
Click Units of measurement and maintain 'ISO code'
- select target units of measurement(eg. SMP) and maintain the 'ISO code' for the unit.
- maintain Tick for primary code if that is primary unit for the ISO code. If the same ISO code is used for more than one unit of measure, you can only flag one unit of measure as a primary unit for one ISO code. Rest of unit of measure will be the secondary unit for this ISO code.
3. Functioning in BD
clicking 'XML action icon' in web screen, window will pop-up for storing ZIP file,
download ZIP file and extract to find XML invoice.
